We are helping our friend, Alex Copper, with his PhD research, looking into the viability of Xynisteri and Maratheftiko in the Barossa Valley’s geology and microclimate. In October we will be receiving the young vines to be planted. Over the growing seasons Paul and Alex will be able to look at how the varieties are performing, with the ultimate goal of making wine that truly expresses their nature.
