Zeus, the Greek father of the gods, exercised close control over earthly things. He was worshipped as the god of farmers. It was his rain that made the fields fertile.
WHO WE ARE
Paulmara Estates was established by Paul and Mara Georgiadis in 1999. Our first estate grown shiraz wine was made in 1999 and bottled under our Limited Release ‘Syna' due to our backgrounds and combined passion for fine wine. Syna is Greek for "together", 'The companionship of two like minds and hearts.' We have created this stunning shiraz, integrating two worlds of passion-Australia and America - to produce this fine wine. Together we established a 32 acre vineyard in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
